Maurice Greene Is Late Addition To adidas Track Classic

CARSON, Calif. (May 17) – Maurice Greene, the 2000 Olympic gold medalist and three-time World Champion, will compete at 100 meters in the adidas Track Classic this Sunday, organizers announced today.
Perhaps the greatest sprinter of all time, Greene also owns a 2000 Olympic gold medal from the 4x100m relay, along with a 2004 Olympics bronze medal at 100 meters. In that race, his time of 9.87 seconds equaled his gold-medal time of four years earlier. Greene was also the 1999 World Champion at 200 meters.
