LOS ANGLES, CA—The 2007 USATF West Region Championships saw the VS Athletics Track Club win the Men’s team title, while the VS Women’s team placed 2nd in the overall team standings. Held in conjunction with the 22nd annual Jim Bush Southern California USATF Championships at Occidental College, the West Region Championship is a scored competition among USATF clubs from the following 18 Western State Associations: Alaska, Arizona, Border (SW Texas), Central California, Colorado, Hawaii, Inland Northwest, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Pacific (Northern California), Pacific Northwest, San Diego-Imperial, Snake River (Southern Idaho), Southern California, Utah, and Wyoming. Regional Championships are also being contested in the North, South, and Eastern United States prior to the 2007 USATF National Club Track & Field Championships on July 13-14 at Icahn Stadium in New York City.
