SACRAMENTO -- For his last race as a collegian, Tim Nelson is back in Northern California in front of family and friends. Wouldn't it be something if he went out as a national champion?Nelson, a 2003 Liberty Christian High School graduate, isn't the favorite in the men's 10,000-meter race at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field National Championships this week. Oregon junior Galen Rupp has that honor, but Nelson is on the short list of contenders.
