European Athlete of the Year and double European sprint champion, Francis Obikwelu (POR), had an impressive opening to his season at an International Meet at one of Canary Islands, in Tenerife.Obikwelu took the 100 m crown in a Europe leading time of 10.15, with the aid of a +1.8m per/sec tailwind. 24-year-old Briton, Dwayne Grant, improved his personal best to 10.26, to take second and looks set to make a major impact over the summer season.
